HAUS - FURNITURE - DECORATIVE ANTIQUES - OBJECTS

Haus is situated on the outskirts of Haslemere in Surrey and is home to a wealth of vintage and antique furniture and decorative items. All the pieces on sale have been hand chosen with a view to creating an eclectic and interesting range of items for the home and garden. Haus prides itself in stocking items which cannot be found in today's High Street - the type of things which bring instant character, warmth and individuality to a home. In a time when mass reproduction of vintage household items abound, Haus refreshingly supplies the real thing, with all the character and patina which only comes with age and use.

FURNITURE - DECORATIVE OBJECTS

There are no rules in Haus. Beautiful Regency chairs sit alongside stylish armchairs from the 1950's - all covered in the shop's signature antique linens. The stock is sourced from home and abroad. Rustic furniture from France and central Europe blends beautifully with English country pieces or post-war 'Made in England' Classics. There is always a broad range of smaller antique and vintage items - the things that really make a house into a home. There are mirrors of all shapes and sizes; nostalgic toys and games; pressed glass; practical tools for kitchen and garden as well as soft furnishings and accessories. From practical to downright frivolous, the constantly changing combination of furniture and decorative objects help to create the relaxed and stylish feel of the shop.

ANTIQUE LINENS

These Linens can never be replicated using modern methods. They subtly vary in weave and tone and texture and are extremely practical being both hardwearing and washable at high temperatures. These stunning fabrics are given a whole new lease of life, on show, where Haus believe they should be, and not hidden away in an Armoire for a hundred years as many of them have been!
